Knowledge A relevant science degree, or post graduate degree with equivalent specialist experience 1 year practical experience in PKPD in vitro modelling, MIC scienceisessential 1 year practical and appropriate theoretical knowledge of analytical techniques including susceptibility testing; determination of resistance mechanisms and bacterial identification using molecular techniques Experience working in a research team is essential Able to maintain and demonstrate a high level of practical competence and willingness to undertake further training as required Knowledge of laboratory polices, codes of practice and professional guidelines Knowledge of health and safety issues pertinent to laboratory work Skills Under the direction of the Lead Research Clinical Scientist - Organize the day to day running of the respiratory PKPD simulations Undertake a range of diagnostic tests relevant to the area of work Present data both written and oral including laboratory reports Plan, prioritize, implement and evaluate own workload and workload for support team Teach and supervise non-professionally qualified staff ( if required) Use NBT Clerical and IT skills Work independently and be able to develop good relationships with colleagues, and external collaborators.
