To complete high quality reviews efficiently in line with the local SOP and within national timescale requirements. To conduct both initial and focussed reviews, working collaboratively with the review team and other partners. LeDeR reviewers are expected to work collegiately and provide peer support to other reviewers, particularly around their own area of expertise as well as supporting induction of new colleagues and mentorship when required. Share, present and submit the learning from completed reviews with the local teams and other partners to support identification of learning that can be actioned. Support and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement across provider care services to reduce harm to people with learning disabilities and/or autism. To collate and analyse information from completed reviews and feedback to local groups and other forums as required. The postholder will need to have the ability to convey and present complex, sensitive and possibly contentious information to a range of audiences - this information includes, but is not limited to, feedback to and from families of deceased clients as well as learning and feedback from reviews which may challenge system partners and local groups. Build and maintain relationships with key personnel, including social care and other health care providers, to ensure that reviews are fully informed and that knowledge and information is shared across internal and external stakeholders to improve learning disability and autism care across Coventry and Warwickshire. Ensure reviews and associated outcomes are delivered on time to quality standards. Encourage and promote a culture that values openness, honesty, rigour and challenge. The post holder will maintain their knowledge and expertise on local and national policy and demonstrate personal commitment to continuous self-development and service improvement. The post holder must maintain high standards of documentation and adhere to the national LeDeR programme requirements. The post holder will be responsible for escalating concerns regarding gaps in provision. The post holder must have a working knowledge of financial processes and have previous experience in budget setting. The post holder must have the capability to plan over short, medium and long-term timeframes and be able to adjust plans and resources appropriately. The post holder must be highly organised, being self-motivated and organise own workload without supervision working to tight and often changing timescales. The post holder will ensure that Safeguarding principles are considered and applied within all elements of the LeDeR programme the post holder will establish links with key local Safeguarding contacts and ensure that any concerns are reported as per Safeguarding Children and Adults policies. There is no patient/client care involved in this role as it is non-patient facing.
