Up to £44,000
Hyde is looking to recruit a Trade Supervisor.
Hyde is one of the UK’s leading and award-winning providers of affordable homes in London, the South-East and surrounding areas. We provide and manage 50,000 homes to over 100,000 customers. Our ethos is simple: by providing customers with a safe and decent home, we enable them to realise their potential, enjoy their environment, and contribute to their community.
As a Trade Supervisor at Hyde, you will play a key role within the Responsive Repairs team. This role is primarily office-based and operational, focusing on effective case management, resource planning, and ensuring the delivery of a customer-focused repairs service. While you will occasionally visit sites or attend external meetings, the majority of your work will be office/desk-based, coordinating and monitoring the performance of trade operatives and managing repair cases.
Responsibilities
Oversee the allocation of repair jobs, ensuring works are raised, coded, and tracked correctly to budgets and timescales.
Manage a team of trades operatives remotely, ensuring right-first-time completion, productivity, and compliance with health and safety.
Monitor performance against KPIs such as Customer Satisfaction, RTF, and job completion times.
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, attending meetings where required.
Support operational improvements and ensure effective use of resources across the Responsive Repairs service.
Occasionally travel between our London Bridge and Tower Hamlets offices if required.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience managing a team.
Strong organisational, planning, and administrative skills.
Experience working within social housing is beneficial but not essential.
A background in trades or repairs is advantageous but not essential.
