An Opportunity Has Arisen for a Nursery Manager / Deputy Manager to join a well-established friendly childcare team at our Dorchester branch.
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the full leadership, development, and day-to-day management of the nursery, Your focus will be on delivering exceptional care and education, building a strong and happy team, and ensuring the nursery thrives both in quality and performance.
This full-time, permanent role is for 42 hours a week and offers a salary of £35k depending on experience
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery
- Ensuring the highest levels of care, education, and safeguarding
- Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children
- Developing and implementing stimulating learning activities in line with EYFS
- Building strong relationships with parents and external agencies
- Ensuring policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are consistently met
What We Are Looking For
- At least Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
- Previous management/ deputy management experience in a nursery
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and OFSTED requirements
- Proactive, adaptable and able to use initiative when problem-solving
