Crynodeb
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to provide essential care and assistance to individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, with a focus on dignity and respect.
Duties
As a Learning Disability Support Worker, your role is both diverse and incredibly fulfilling. You'll be there for our clients, helping them with every aspect of their daily lives, from personal care to shopping, managing bills, attending medical appointments, exploring the local community, and much more. No two shifts are alike, which means each day brings new opportunities to learn and make a difference. You'll develop deep connections with our customers, becoming a reliable, kind-hearted, and compassionate Support Worker who actively contributes to their growth and daily well-being.
Qualifications
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care would be advantageous, but we also welcome applications from individuals new to the Care industry. Training will be provided for all new applicants, and there are ongoing learning opportunities for existing staff members.
Previous experience in care or patient care is preferred, particularly in supporting individuals with disabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
A background in nursing or childcare may be beneficial, but is not essential.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others achieve their best quality of life.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective documentation and reporting.
If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Disability Support Worker.
