An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a SpLD Tutor to join its Learning Support team.
The post holder will be responsible for assessing and implementing support for students with Dyslexia and other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). The tutor will collaborate with staff to ensure that teaching and learning strategies are adapted to support learners with a range of SpLD needs. Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for carrying out examination access arrangements in accordance with Joint Council of Qualifications regulations.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a SEND role within a Further Education or Sixth Form College, or a Secondary School. They should have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective support plans for learners with diverse needs. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders are essential for this role.
