Graduate diploma/degree in physiotherapy Registered with the HPC Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio, including attendance at recent and relevant postgraduate courses. Portfolio evidence of information learning. Comprehensive experience at Band 5 level in a rotational post, providing a broad range of experience in core and specialist rotations. Experience of working as part of a physiotherapy team and/or multidisciplinary team. Involvement in audit, research and understanding quality issues. Contributing to clinical education of students and training other staff. Remain updated with professional practice and new research. Understand the legal responsibilities of the profession. Ability to present information written and orally in a clear and logical manner. Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate. Understanding of clinical governance and its implications for services, including experience of quality issues and audit. Ability to comprehend and work within the Trusts policies including data protection, equal opportunities, health and safety, risk management and meet the differing needs of the patients. Ability to keep accurate and legible patient notes. Ability to use and develop appropriate patient handling skills. Ability to carry out moderate to intense physical effort throughout the working day and carry out concurrent activities.
