Hays Education are working on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in the Stockport area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time teaching role covering KS3 and KS4 Science, with the potential to teach A-Level depending on experience. The position is offered on a long-term, temporary basis with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3/KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to teaching
