Your new company
I'm currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackburn that is seeking a Reception Class Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with EHCPs (Education Health Care Plans). This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners at a crucial stage in their development.
Your new role
- Supporting pupils with EHCPs to access learning and reach their full potential.
- Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support strategies.
- Promoting positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in learning.
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for early years pupils.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in EYFS, ideally supporting children with SEN or EHCPs.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
