Registered Care Manager - LD & Autism Services - Birmingham
Three homes. One exciting leadership opportunity.
I am looking for an experienced Registered Manager - or a confident Assistant Manager ready to step up - to lead three residential services supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism across the Birmingham area. Each home has its own character, well-established team, and strong foundations. Your role will be to elevate them from Good to Outstanding.
About the Services
- One service supports older people with learning disabilities in a quiet suburban setting.
- Another is a small, all-male home with a focus on independence and community engagement.
- The third is a larger mixed-gender service with a vibrant, active atmosphere.
All homes are rated CQC Good and are within close proximity of each other, making this a manageable and rewarding multi-site role.
What You'll Bring
- Experience managing LD/autism services, including ASD and behaviours that challenge
- Registered Manager experience or strong leadership background in residential care
- Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
What You'll Be Doing
- Champion person-led support and meaningful community engagement
- Lead, coach, and inspire Deputy Managers and wider staff teams
- Drive quality, compliance, and innovation across all services
- Collaborate with internal specialists - from Behavioural Support to HR - to deliver best-in-class care
Why Join?
- Salary: c. £35, 900 - c. £40,700
- 33 days paid leave
- Health plan and life assurance
- Free on-site parking
- Specialist autism training and development
- Strong peer support and leadership mentoring
This is more than a job. It's a chance to shape lives, build teams, and leave a legacy in autism care.
If you're ready to lead with heart and drive change, I want to hear from you.
