Have you got a love for working with young children and a passion to help them grow and develop?

This welcoming and lively Dulwich Primary School is looking to grow their Early Years support team with a confident Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant who wants to put their relevant degree into practice.

Who We’re Looking For

In line with the new EYFS legislation, a relevant degree is essential for this Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant role. Candidates must have a degree in:

• Education, Early Years, Childhood Studies, Children and Young People, Education Studies OR similar degree related to early years education
• A degree that is 2:2 or higher

To thrive as a Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant, you must have:

• A genuine passion for supporting young children in their learning and development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build nurturing relationships
• An empathetic, caring and resilient nature
• An interest in progressing into teacher training or Early Years specialism in the future
• Some experience working with children (desirable but not essential)

Role Responsibilities & What We Offer

• Support the learning and development of children in Nursery and Reception
• Deliver 1:1 and small group support in areas such as phonics, early writing and numeracy
• Provide empathetic care and help children build confidence and independence
• Prepare engaging resources and assist with creative, play-based learning activities
• Support with classroom routines, organisation, and behaviour management
