Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various office and holiday home settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for all. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Transporting yourself and cleaning products & equipment between job sites
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned, dusted, and sanitised regularly.
- Handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Interact with clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Changing bedding in holiday homes.
- Taking laundry (bedding and towels) from the property, washing them and bringing them back on the next visit.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Maintain an organised stock of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- A valid driving licence and your own vehicle is advantageous - the role requires travel between locations.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of team occasionally.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
