Summary

Lifeline Control Assistant needed in Merthyr Tydfil Paying £13.26 per hr ref OR12385

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the confidential Lifeline records system accurately and securely.
Programme and maintain Lifeline and Telecare equipment to ensure functionality and reliability.
Receive and respond to all Lifeline calls in accordance with the Control Room’s Code of Practice.
Act as the on-duty operator in the Control Room on a rota basis, ensuring continuous coverage.
Provide guidance and assistance to service users, next of kin, scheme managers, and nominated contacts to determine the most appropriate response to calls.
Monitor and respond to alarm systems, including any future additions to the system.
Record and action all out-of-hours maintenance calls and queries on behalf of the organisation and contracted partners.
Carry out any other duties as directed by the Corporate Support Manager or other senior officers, as deemed legal and reasonable.
Perform any additional tasks that are reasonable and commensurate with the role.
