As an Assistant
You will be responsible for undertaking a range of duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development. You will also assist by preparing the dining room for mealtimes, heating prepared meals and delivering them to tenants.
On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/ or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required. In addition you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required.
Hours
Post 1: Thursday, Friday & Saturday 10am – 2.30pm (12 hours per week)
Post 2: Thursday, Friday & Saturday 2.30pm – 7pm (12 hours per week)
We are looking to appoint for two posts at 12 hours per week, if however you were interested in the full 24 hours, please state this on your application. Otherwise please state which post you are interested in.
About You
Experience of a similar type of role would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement as training will be provided.
You should bring to the role a genuine interest in working with older people and an ability to respond calmly to requests for assistance.
REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent would be desirable.
