The Opportunity
These roles represent an exciting opportunity to join Keele University’s Directorate of Student Support and Success. The Directorate consists of a range of specialist services that ensures students are supported and able to thrive within the academic environment, and we are looking for an individual to support us maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive campus environment for our students, staff and visitors.
The Campus Safety Team is often the first point of contact for calls for service from students and staff on campus. This is a varied and challenging role that requires high levels of customer service and the ability to think dynamically and flexibly, whilst engaging and working alongside other internal and external services and will necessitate strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
The hours of work are based on 12-hour shifts, on a 4 on 4 off basis, working alternate periods of x4 days, x4 rest days, x4 nights and x4 rest days in rotation. Working hours will normally be based on 6am-6pm days, and 6pm-6am nights. Site-specific training and uniforms will be provided.
The post holder will be required to have a valid full driving license.
