Crynodeb
The role involves working across 2 Local Authorities in South East London, engaging directly with children and young people and their families in a flexible, fun and creative way, to better understand what is important to them and how to best navigate different systems, as well as holding services to account. The role is hybrid, with the expectation of regular visits to young people and families in different settings, and regular face to face meetings within the team, including whole service meetings and events at the Tooley Street office. The SELECT service uses the AMBIT (Adaptive Mentalization Based Integrative Treatment) framework and promotes the use of Person-Centred Planning when directly working with children, young people and families. The team is made up of professionals from a range of backgrounds (e.g. social care, mental health, education, advocacy) who each bring their own experiences and expertise. We are looking for practitioners who are confident in working in multidisciplinary teams, with complexity and risk, and who are passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people and their families. You will be part of a dynamic, autonomous, and creative team, where person-centred care is placed at the heart of what we do. There are supportive measures in place for the Keyworkers, such as regular individual supervision, group discussions and ongoing training opportunities.
