Support the CEO with the development of organisation wide strategic planning by ensuring that services have clearly defined aims and outcomes, which are well articulated, easily understood and regularly reported Ensure service design and delivery takes account of the diversity of individuals and communities that Day One seeks to reach, in a way that is genuinely inclusive. Lead on the expansion of the regional and national growth strategy Investigate and develop new service opportunities supporting the development of regional approaches Oversee roll out of the model to new trauma centres over time Develop initiatives, policies and practices which enable scaling up in periods of rapid growth Working as part of the senior management team, the postholder is directly responsible for the Services Department, including leadership and management of the Services Managers, Head of Lived Experience and Associate Clinical Lead Work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Communications regarding funding to support service delivery Build a network of contacts across regions, presenting and representing Day One with external stakeholders, such as NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, commercial organisations and Charities relevant to trauma care. Develop robust performance management metrics for all aspects of service delivery Contribute to the development and implementation of processes, initiatives, policies and procedures, and services that promote the key ambitions and priorities of Day One Trauma Support Role model appropriate leadership behaviours, aligned to the charitys values. Work closely with the other Senior Team members and CEO to assure the Board of Trustees on performance, quality, safety and effectiveness of all services delivered by Day One Trauma Support. Regular reporting on service delivery progress and outcomes including Board reports Represent Services Department at Board and Committee meetings Be responsible for Services department budget setting and work closely with the finance department on budget management and monitoring.
