Based in the Tees Valley, Bede Sixth Form College continues to go from strength to strength, our pass rate is 99%. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Hourly Paid Leisure Assistant to join our Sports Centre team reporting to our Sports Centre Manager. You will be joining a friendly and hardworking team who continues to deliver excellent sporting provision to our local community during commercial hours on an evening and weekend. This role follows a flexible, ad-hoc working pattern, with hours varying according to business needs and mutual agreement. Hours will be provided in advance and work on a 2-week rota shift pattern.
As a Leisure Assistant with Bede Sixth Form College, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers always receive a high standard of customer service. You will be required to set up equipment on time for sporting activities to take place, whilst always providing a clean and safe environment for our customers during their visit. On occasions you will be required to use the Epos booking system with cash handling and key holding responsibilities, and training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be organised, approachable, enthusiastic, be able to work in a team working to a high level, have excellent IT with problem solving skills and willing to learn and develop to ensure that the Sports Centre continues to be a fantastic sporting hub within the community.
Previous customer service or leisure experience including cash handling and key holding responsibilities will be an advantage, however full training will be provided.
