Overtime: Mon-Sat at 1.5x | Sun at 2x
Shift Pattern:
* Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
* Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
(39 hours per week)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join a leading precision engineering business in Droitwich. You will be responsible for producing high-integrity sub-assemblies for specialist equipment used in demanding industrial applications.
This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a strong commitment to quality. Working within a skilled assembly team, you will ensure that all builds meet exacting technical and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture precision sub-assemblies for advanced industrial systems.
* Accurately interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings.
* Operate air-powered punching tools and precision assembly equipment.
* Form and assemble components to specified tolerances.
* Perform pressure and quality testing of assemblies.
* Maintain strict compliance with internal quality and safety standards.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold high housekeeping levels.
Experience & Requirements
* Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role.
* Confident interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
* Proficient with workshop tools, both manual and powered.
* Excellent attention to detail with a quality-first approach.
* Ability to work consistently and accurately in a production environment.
* Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines.
