Crynodeb
The post-holders day-to-day duties will include: Assessment and management of in-patients in the Childrens Ward and Neonatal Unit, including participating in ward rounds under supervision Assessment and management of sick children in the Childrens Assessment Unit Assessment and management of sick children in the emergency department when an opinion is requested, including emergencies and resuscitations Attendance at difficult obstetric deliveries and resuscitation of new-born infants Weekly outpatient clinic under consultant supervision Participation in the Tier 2 (middle grade) out of hours medical rota on a pro-rata basis, including evening, night and weekend shifts Dedicated admin time to ensure all paperwork/communication with other services is up-to-date Participation in clinical supervision of junior medical staff Working in partnership with medical and nursing teams and other MDT members to ensure children, young people and their families have seamless, planned care to meet their needs Outpatient Clinics in the post holders specialist area
