Salary: £12.21 per hour
Location: DY11, Kidderminster, Birmingham
Job Type: Full Time, minimum 36 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Sunday, 12-hour shifts. Flexibility for both day and night shifts is essential.
Full UK Driving Licence: Preferred but not required.

About the Role

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within the Complex Care sector?

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking a Care Assistant to provide support for an individual with complex needs. This 30-year-old individual has various complex care requirements, including a tracheostomy, PEG feeding, and tissue viability needs. While non-verbal, they have a full understanding of their surroundings. You'll need to communicate effectively and demonstrate engagement with their needs and requirements.

This care will take place in the individual's own home, where they live with family members. This is a 2:1 support package and includes access to a mobility vehicle, enabling community access.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care. Ideally, you will have:

  • A minimum of 6 months of professional UK care experience.
  • Ability to provide correct compliance documents, including an updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
