We are now seeking a meticulous and reliable Laundry Assistant to join our team. In this important role, you will ensure residents’ personal clothing and linen are handled with the utmost care, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation that make a real difference to daily life.

What We Offer

  • £12.21 per hour
  • Contracted to 15 hours per week (Saturday & Sunday, 9 AM – 5 PM)
  • Paid DBS
  • Pension scheme
  • Uniform provided
  • Onsite parking
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Your Role
As a Laundry Assistant, you will take responsibility for managing all laundry services within the home, treating residents’ clothing and bedding with care and respect. You will ensure all laundry is washed, dried, ironed, and returned promptly, following strict hygiene and infection control procedures. You will label personal items, carry out minor repairs where needed, and keep the laundry area clean, tidy, and safe at all times. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help create a fresh, welcoming environment that supports residents’ comfort and dignity.
