About the Role: As a Safeguarding Officer, you will provide effective support to the Head of Wellbeing and Safeguarding by taking a campus lead on the wellbeing and safeguarding of learners. You will maintain accurate records relating to wellbeing and safeguarding work undertaken. You will collaborate with curriculum and functional areas i.e. ALN staff in order to support work with learners. You will liaise with external agencies as an integral part of the role in order for learners to access the most effective support. Further Information: Staff employed at Coleg y Cymoedd will have responsibility for the safeguarding and for the promoting the welfare of learner.Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the College, either at your principal place of work or other College premises, commensurate with the grade and responsibilities of the role. It is recognised that duties and responsibilities of all posts may change from time to time and job descriptions may be amended in consultation with the post holder to reflect those changes which are commensurate with the role.
