Is our Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) Implementation champion, the role for you?Oasis are 1 of 2 MATs to successfully apply and be chosen to join the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) as an Education Catalyst Partner. This means as an organisation we will be implementing and testing the YEFs violence reduction recommendations for education. This is great opportunity to be involved in a project at a national level that will not only help shape practice for Oasis but inform development of a model on a National scale.It's a great opportunity to work on a remote basis , 1 day a week doing something different! It's ultimately something that should make a difference to our students.It's an opportunity to get some great experience working with our safeguarding team in a unique project.Sounds like something you'd be interested in getting involved in? Great then please read on!About our YEF Implementation Champion Role The projects overall aim is to learn about the barriers and enablers to implementing YEF practice change recommendations and gather learnings to inform the development of a model for scale up across England and Wales. You will: Support activities linked to the Youth Endowment Fund’s Education Catalyst Pilot. Be a source of support and guidance for academies part of the Catalyst Pilot Contribute to wider violence reduction efforts across the Oasis family. Wider TeamYou'll be a part of the Safeguarding and Mental Health Team and work closely with Matt Cannon.Who will it suit?Someone who wants to be involved in a pilot that will influence policy and thoughts and happy to travel and support academies implement strategies connected to the project. (pilot academies are in Manchester, Southampton & Bristol).What will you get in return? £4000 allowance as NLP0.2 of timetable (1 day a week)Continued professional development opportunityNext steps We're asking for expressions of interest.
