Join Us as a Waking Night Project Worker - The Trees27 hours per week - Permanent Contract - £18,153Do you want to make a real difference in people’s lives?At The Trees, a warm and welcoming home for four gentlemen in the peaceful village of Drayton Parslow, we’re looking for a caring and committed individual to join us as a Waking Night Project Worker.Whether you are experienced or new to care, we will support you with full training, a structured induction, and the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification. You will be part of a dedicated team providing overnight support, helping to ensure the residents feel safe, comfortable, and respected throughout the night.With a positive attitude and a flexible approach, you will empower the gentlemen to live with dignity and independence. If you’re compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a meaningful impact- we would love to hear from you.Key responsibilities as a Waking Night Project Worker:Supporting vulnerable adults during night hours, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.Communicating effectively using various methods tailored to individual needs.Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.Promoting independence and respecting the wishes of the people we support.Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns promptly whilst ensuring the safety of the propertyOffering emotional support as neededResponding to and documenting any crisis events that may occur during the nightAdministering medication if required and completing household tasksProviding personal care support during the night when required, ensuring residents’ dignity, safety, and well-being are upheldIdeal candidates will have:Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different needs.A team-focused mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.A commitment to delivering excellent care and support.An understanding of equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles.Previous experience is helpful but not essential-we provide full training.It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.We will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.Hightown Benefits:Generous annual leave allowance of 33 days per year (pro rata), including statutory bank holidays, rising to 35 days with service£18,153pa for a 27-hour per week contractWorkplace pension scheme and life assurance of three times your annual salaryFully paid DBSAnnual bonus based on satisfactory performanceMonthly attendance bonus and annual salary and cost of living reviewOngoing professional development and training to help you deliver outstanding supportEmployee assistance helplineAppointment to this position will be subject to satisfactory right to work, enhanced DBS, reference and medical checks.We are an Equal Opportunities & Disability Confident Employer.
