We're Hiring: Freelance Civils Site Manager
Location: Fakenham
Sectors: Retail
Project Types: Civils (groundworks, drainage, kerbing, ducting, foundations, surfacing)
Payrate: £270 - £350 a day
Duration: 18 - 20 weeks - START ASAP
What you'll do as a Freelance Civils Site Manager:
- Oversee project of civils work on a fast food restaurant
- Report directly to the Project Manager
- Work closely to the project programme
- Supervise variety of trades and sub-contractors
- Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
- Support commissioning and final handovers
Duties of a Freelance Civils Site Manager include but are not limited to:
- Carrying Out Inductions and enforcing H&S
- Understanding and addressing RAMS, COSHH, Lift Plans etc
- Working to programme
- Supervising a variety of trades and sub-contractor
- Working alongside site engineer to manage setting out, cut/fill requirements
- Experienced in all aspects of Civil Engineering- drainage, kerbing, ducting, foundations, attenuation, surfacing etc
- Communicating effectively with client, project team, trades and sub-contractors
- Ensuring work carried out within quality standards
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Experience working on civils projects
- SMSTA/SSSTA and First Aid as a minimum
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Site Managers position
- UK driving license and access to own vehicle
