A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Administrator to join our team in Peterborough ( Fengate ) on a full time, permanent basis. The main objective of your role will be to support our Site Managers with their daily administrative duties to ensure all documents are in order.
You week will include visits to all our sites which are within an hour of our Peterborough office. There may also be days where you are in the office.
As a Project Administrator, your role will be to support Site Managers with logistical, documentation, and communication tasks to ensure projects run efficiently, including maintaining project plans, managing risk and issue logs, coordinating meetings, and tracking progress against timelines and budgets. You will ensure documents are kept up to date meeting the standards required.
Key skills required are strong organisation, communication, attention to detail, and proficient IT skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk logs, issue logs, and change control records.
• Develop and maintain effective communication systems between project teams and stakeholders, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
• Support the production and distribution of project reports, track project costs and budgets, and ensure accurate data management systems are in place.
• Assist with logistical tasks such as booking venues, coordinating site visits, managing equipment shipments, and processing expenses.
• Help implement and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and processes, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
• Liaise with suppliers, process orders, and manage the shipment of materials to the site.
Required Skills & Knowledge
• Previous experience working within the Construction industry would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent time management, the ability to multitask and prioritise, and strong organizational abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional telephone and interpersonal skills.
• High standards of accuracy and precision in data entry, record-keeping, and document formatting.
