We are recruiting on behalf of a respected mechanical contractor based in the West Midlands. The company specialises in pipework installations and delivers high-quality mechanical services across sectors including student accommodation, custodial facilities, and education. With projects typically ranging from £1 million to £5 million, they have a strong presence across the Midlands region.
Your new role
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will lead mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion. You'll be responsible for managing pipework installations, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Most projects are located in and around the Midlands, offering a manageable travel footprint and consistent regional focus.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience managing mechanical projects within the building services industry
- Strong technical knowledge of pipework systems including heating, chilled water, and domestic services
- Experience delivering projects in sectors such as education, custodial, and student accommodation
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and site teams effectively
