Two personal assistants required to support 13-year-old and 15-year-old sisters living in Bodmin.

One PA to support a 13-year-old girl. She has Autism level 2 and would like someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 1:1 support. She would like someone to support her with building her confidence and self-esteem and building trusting relationships. She enjoys music, make up and social media. Driver essential.

One PA to support a 15-year-old girl. She would like someone to support her to build her confidence and grow life skills and someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 1:1 support. She enjoys gaming and would possibly like to go swimming and horse riding. Driver essential and willing to drive a WAV.

Personal assistants will enable them to enjoy activities in their home and local community.

Up to 8 hours/each per fortnight are available, and this is flexible. Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.

The rate of pay is £12.60 per hour.

Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people is essential. A full driving licence is desirable.

The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
