For over a century, we have been improving lives worldwide through groundbreaking research, innovative education, and strategic partnerships that tackle the world’s most pressing health challenges.We are looking to appoint a Strategic Partnerships Lead to further co-develop and deliver a bold partnerships strategy that will strengthen our global impact, extend our influence, and help us achieve our strategic ambitions. This is a high-profile role at the heart of LSTM’s mission, combining strategic insight with hands-on delivery, working across the full partnership lifecycle, from horizon scanning and prospecting to execution, monitoring, and evaluation, to ensure our partnerships create meaningful, measurable change.What you’ll be doingContribute to the further development, implementation and monitoring of LSTM’s Partnership Strategy and take a lead role in operational planning including developing and delivering a supporting framework with operational plans, risk registers and KPI dashboardsProvide strategic advisory and operational support to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Partnerships, LSTM Executive and colleagues, and manage oversight for the Partnerships, Engagement and External Relations Committee and Global Hubs CouncilEstablish and manage a personal portfolio of strategic partnerships, acting as the main point of contact and senior relationship manager for LSTM’s Global Hubs and regional/civic partners, while overseeing LSTM’s wider network of relationship managersDevelop and embed processes and mechanisms to track, measure and ensure effective delivery, impact, governance and compliance across all partnership activitiesWho we are looking forProven experience in developing, managing, and evaluating strategic partnerships.Ability to build rapport, negotiate and influence diverse stakeholders both in within the UK and globally.To see a full list of responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached job description.
