Erskine is a high impact social care organisation which is seeking suitable applicants for the post of Human Resource and Organisational Development Business Partner (HR&OD BP).

As Erskine evolves in response to the unmet needs of Veterans in Scotland, the organisation is expanding its HR function and are looking for experienced dynamic and motivated HR&OD Business Partner to help drive forward organisational change.


The Role:

Reporting to the Human Resources and Organisational Development Manager, key responsibilities of the role are:

• Organisational Change – Partner senior and operational managers ensuring they have the tools, advice and support required to develop resilient highly engaged teams.
• Workforce Planning – Support and guide key business areas with workforce planning to meet the needs of the service including restructures, recruitment, and onboarding.
• Workplace Wellbeing – Work with colleagues across Erskine to create the conditions enabling our staff to perform to the best of their ability
• Learning and Development - Create opportunities and approaches for our workforce to learn and grow professionally and personally


What you’ll need to succeed

• Hold a Professional HR Qualification at Level 5 and/or equivalent level experience at a Senior HR Level with a commitment to further CPD and attainment of level 7.
• Experience of case management - absence management and employee relations issues, developing policies and procedures, hands-on recruitment and selection experience, delivery creative solutions to attract talent, experience of efficiently and confidently using HR Information systems and reporting tools.
• Full understanding of the key principles of employment law and experience of supporting ER cases
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to show initiative, flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to handle a range of issues with sensitivity and confidentiality
• IT Literate and able to use a range of software including Excel, Work, PowerPoint and social media platforms
• You must hold a full UK driving licence
• Experience of working in the health and social care sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
