About the Role
North Yorkshire Council is seeking 5 reliable and hardworking Loaders to support the waste collection team during a key recruitment period. This is a physically active role that plays a vital part in keeping communities clean, safe, and well-serviced.
You’ll be working in teams of 2–3, collecting domestic waste bins and emptying dog and litter bins across the borough. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and making a visible impact in your community, this could be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery to empty a wide variety of bins
- Work efficiently in a team to complete daily collection routes
- Ensure safe handling and disposal of waste materials
- Maintain high standards of service and professionalism

- A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
