The individual will be responsible for overseeing all activities taking place throughout the day shift.
-Pay - £15 per hour
-42 hours per week
-Shift pattern: 06:00 to 18:00, working 4 days on, 4 days off
Main Duties
-Manage the team through the shift, allocating resource as required
-Planning labour to cover holidays and utilise resource effectively
-Deliver training for new starters and existing colleagues
-Complete daily paperwork to ensure we are compliant
-Investigate non-conformances and complete follow up actions
-Interact with client staff, dealing with any issues throughout the shift
-Monitor the safe use of equipment and ensure processes are followed correctly
-Support recruitment and follow HR processes as required
-Capture data on productivity for the Hygiene Manager
-Ensure communal areas are clean and complete sign off paperwork
-Oversee laundry activity
-Conduct quality audits and report back findings
-Stock management and liaison with client
-Support hygiene during peak periods
What we are looking for
-Experience in a Supervisory role in a food hygiene environment
-Competent in HR processes - training, return to works, investigations, performance management
-Attention to detail
-Ability to communicate at all levels - team, client production staff, client management
-Computer literate
-Ability to work on own and as part of a team
-Desire to succeed
-Ability to react to situations and take action to overcome challenges
