Our client is a leading company in the industry, committed to excellence and innovation. They are seeking an experienced CNC Miller with expertise in Mazak controls to join their team. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for Programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Milling machines to produce high-quality precision components.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Mazak Milling Machines (J600, I800 and VCN510) using Mazak Controllers. You must be confident in reading imperial drawings, decision-making and first article inspection, operating within an AS9100 management system.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Proven experience programming and operating Mazak machines (preference for J600, I800T, VNC510)
• Skilled in machining high-value exotic materials such as Nickel Alloy 625, 718, Inconel, and Aluminium Bronze
• Proficient in reading and interpreting imperial drawings
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to perform first article inspections
• Experience working within an AS9100 quality management system
What will your role look like?
• Program, set, and operate Mazak CNC machines to high standards
• Machine complex components from exotic materials with precision
• Carry out first article inspections and quality checks
• Follow AS9100 processes and maintain documentation as required
• Work effectively within the team, adhering to production schedules
• Core hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with overtime available
