Pay Rates:
Monday to Sunday Days:
Standard Days: £19.98
Start between 0200-0400: £20.95
Start between 04:01-05:00: £20.49
Start between 05:01-05:30: £20.23
Monday to Sunday Nights:
Finish between 20:00-21:39: £20.70
Finish between 21:40-01:59: £21.52
If 3 hours completed between 23:00-05:00: £22.89
All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
We’re recruiting for HGV Class 1 trunking drivers to drive between depots and mail centres, with minimal load interaction and consistent shift patterns. Ideal for drivers who prefer straightforward routes and reliable hours. A full induction and training is provided to ensure you are safe and efficient from day one.
This is a 7 day operation with shifts available Monday to Sunday depending on what shift pattern suits you. Typical shift start times are between 11:00-01:00 however some morning shifts are available. Increased night rates to maximise earning potential if you are happy to work nights. Most drivers average 10-12 hours per shift. Bookings are allocated every Thursday for the following week, including start and planned finish time, helping to provide a better work life balance.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years of recent HGV driving experience required
No more than 5 penalty points (minor offences only)
