The i-Hub Manager will act as the Information Support Officer (ISO), advising the Senior Information Officer and Information Manager on information related matters and execute their policies. The i-Hub Manger may also be responsible for the maintenance of the registered files and other records in support of the Information Manger. You will be supported by a number of Sub-Unit Information Support Administrators.
Main Duties/Tasks:
Responsible for the management of all Unit iHub routine and information management activity
The continual development and improvement of the Unit’s SharePoint sites
Primary Local Security Officer for the Station
Maintenance and Development of the Unit Information file plans
Provide technical support and guidance to Unit personnel in-order to allow them to effectively execute their roles and responsibilities
Support the execution (and amendment as required) of the Unit Information Management Plan in accordance with all extant MOD policies and procedures
Provide technical support and guidance, including appropriate use IT applications available, to support the effective application of IM/IX across the Unit
Act as the lead for the continual improvement of the Unit SharePoint and associated electronic working practices to maximise IM/IX across the Unit
Produce (or support) the creation and staffing of all telephone, IT hardware provision Business Cases for consideration by the appropriate approval branch
Carry out small projects as directed by the Unit Commander
