Educato are working on behalf of a SEN school in the Levenshulme area who are looking recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils aged 11-19 in a specialist setting. The incoming SEN Teaching Assistant will be working with with groups of children with additional needs. This is a full time post on a temp-perm basis to start as soon as possible in September.
The Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a key player in delivering high-quality support to a child in Early Years in a primary school in Levenshulme area. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to:
- Support pupils with SEN
- Experience within a Primary or SEN school
- Work with groups of identified children with Special Needs
- Help develop communication, social, and emotional skills
- Contribute to detailed observations, assessments, and progress tracking
What We're Looking For:
- Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent experience above
- Level 3 Health and Social care is also accepted
- An understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- A genuine passion for SEN and understanding of different learning needs
- Confident with personal care
- Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, or other additional needs is desirable
