Join us at DIO as a Senior Capability Advisor supporting the Property Profession, a vital role that ensures our workforce has the right skills and expertise to support Defence now and in the future.
You’ll play a pivotal part in supporting the Professional Developmental Lead to deliver capability-building initiatives as part of the Property Workforce Plan. Working closely with colleagues across the Capability Team, Property Deputy Heads of Profession, and wider MOD teams, you will help embed professional standards and drive development across the Government Property Profession (GPP).
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Shaping and supporting the strategic development of professional capability within DIO.
Leading DIO Entry Schemes – from planning and recruitment, to onboarding and cohort support.
Driving HR and workforce initiatives that enhance organisational performance and career development.
Building and maintaining effective partnerships across the People Team and DIO.
Sharing and promoting professionalisation messages across DIO.
Representing the Property Profession in cross government initiatives and GPP networks.
Using data to guide decision making, informing strategy and supporting workforce planning.
Leading position mapping and career framework alignment for property roles.
Overseeing the GPP annual data commission and contributing to strategic workforce insights.
Stepping in to provide leadership cover as needed, representing the Professional Development Lead when required.
