Are you a passionate Nursery Practitioner with experience working in a UK early years setting? Can you demonstrate your knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies? Are you a caring and patient individual who is dedicated to a child's emotional and social well-being? Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and flexible Nursery Practitioner to join our warm and welcoming team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced practitioner to support our nursery on a flexible basis, covering for staff absences and leave. Responsibilities As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be an integral part of our daily operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-4.
  • Assisting with the planning and implementation of creative, play-based activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Ensuring a safe, clean, and stimulating environment at all times.
  • Working collaboratively with our dedicated team to create a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
Requirements What We're Looking For We are searching for a practitioner who is:
  • Experienced: You have previous experience working with young children in a nursery setting.
  • Adaptable: You can confidently step in and integrate with our team and routines as needed.
  • Passionate: You have a genuine love for early childhood development and a child-centered approach.
  • Qualified: You hold an early years qualification (Level 2 or higher) and have a strong understanding of safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
  • Dedicated: You are committed to providing the best possible care and support to our children.
