About the company
Our client is a reputable nursery in Liverpool (L4) providing high-quality care and education for young children. They are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for both children and staff.
Roles & Responsibilities
You will be providing individualised support to a child with additional needs in a nurturing two-year-old provision. You'll work closely with the child's key worker and other members of the team to develop and implement an engaging and stimulating learning program. This is a chance to make a significant impact on a young child's development and well-being in a friendly and supportive team environment.
Main tasks include- Developing and implementing individualised learning plans
- Providing one-to-one support and guidance
- Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
- Working collaboratively with the key worker and other members of the team
- Monitoring and documenting the child's progress
- Building strong relationships with the child and their family
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with children with additional needs
- A passion for making a positive difference in young children's lives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
- Full right to work in the UK
- A willingness to commit to a long-term, full-time position
- Strong understanding of child development and learning principles
