Our client, a highly respected independent firm of chartered accountants based in central Winchester, is looking for an ambitious Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least two years' experience in practice who is currently studying (or planning to study) AAT, ACCA, or ACA. You'll gain hands-on experience with a varied client base, benefit from structured training, and be supported in building a long-term career in a collaborative, people-focused environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Producing management accounts and tax computations
- Handling VAT returns and bookkeeping for a diverse client portfolio
- Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Working closely with senior colleagues and supporting junior team members
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice
- Currently studying or planning to study AAT / ACCA / ACA
- Solid grounding in accounts preparation and VAT
- A proactive team player who thrives in a client-focused environment
