Crynodeb
Perform a range of organisational, supervisory and supply functions in order to provide efficient and quality services to patients, wards and clinics within the Trust. Duties will be predominantly concerned with the organisation and direct supervision of staff and activities; including supply of medicines to LTHT wards and departments ensuring tight deadlines are met. This also includes assembly, supply and checking pharmaceuticals. Stock control management and clerical duties are also assigned to this post. Ensures adherence and trains staff including H&S and COSHH issues. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day line management of a team of pharmacy assistants. They will induct, supervise and train staff within the team including weekend and evening staff. The post is based in the Stores and Distribution team based at either SJUH/LGI or the Pharmacy Warehouse but the post holder may be required to work in other areas of pharmacy throughout the trust. The post holder is required to work weekends and Bank Holidays. The post holder will ensure that all environmental controls are suitable for operation before the team begin work. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day running of the delivery team, prioritising work load and giving direction and supervision as required. They will be required to work accurately whilst under pressure.
