This role will be key in supporting the Categories Director to implement the Category Management methodology across the workstream in order to deliver an ambitious 3 - 5 year category strategy and category plans that anticipate as well as respond to external challenges, whilst meeting the requirements of stakeholders at a regional and national level to help both NHS LPP and the Workforce Alliance and members achieve their financial targets Support the Category Director to develop the commercial strategic direction of the Workforce workstream in order to implement the NHS LPP and WA strategy and vision. Support the Category Director deliver the expected outcomes of the NHS LPP Steering Board and WA in particular the benefits and Activity Based Income (ABI) targets in line with the agreed cost base and RoI in order to enable NHS LPP to operate as a profit centre for the health economy and minimise member contributions. Key member of the Workforce Alliance leadership team setting the overall direction and strategy and acting as a role model in support of organisational purpose, vision, values, objectives and behavior. Presents the NHS LPP as a progressive, proactive, responsive and innovative organisation with a purpose to improve peoples lives through the delivery of best in class procurement, with an ambition to reach world-class
