Who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Security Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service usersInformation:Position: Security OfficerLocation: London (W1T) Pay Rate: £13.85 per hourHours: Average 42 hours per weekShifts: 4 on 4 off - Days & Nights Job Requirements:SIA Licence requiredSecurity experience is preferredPhysically fit to complete patrols externally and able to stand/walk for extended periods in all weathersExcellent levels of customer service & communication at all timesMust have good command of English Language and IT skillsReliable, confident, punctual and committedTo have a smart appearance befitting the companyFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.The ability to work independently and as part of a teamHave a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situationsBe confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific dutiesBe able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requestedCCTV licence & First Aid qualification is a bonus Duties:Able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team and have a proactive and ever evolving approach towards their duties.Able to achieve high standards in a fast-paced customer focused environment and to have an attitude that strives for continuous improvement.Conduct estate patrolsMust be able to be at site at 06:50 or 18:50 for each shiftAble to lead by example and develop the team’s progression in all assignment duties.Have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with the client and all other service providers to the Estate.Able to adapt to new duties added to the assignment as the contract evolves.To prevent unauthorised access while remaining professional at all times.To ensure that the client Permit to work system is always adhered to.To assist and respond to all fire alarm activations in a calm and professional demeanour.To be vigilant and observant of visitors and occupiers ensuring no baggage is left unattended and applicable signage is placed correctly, I.E wet floor signs.To book visitors in whilst announcing the visitor to the appropriate person(s)To conduct regular internal and external Building and Estate patrols and as per the site’s assignment instructions.Report any patrol observations and or defects to the Security Manager as well as documenting it appropriately.To prevent unauthorised personnel from entering the premises.To assist members of the public and or visitors who may need our help with local information.To conduct a thorough check of all identified vulnerable points of the Estate as well as ensuring all exits are secure and no risks are present or obstruct.
