LEVEL THREE QUALIFIED ESSENTIAL.
FULL TIME AND CASUAL POSITIONS (COVER HOLS/SICKNESS ETC)
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
You must have a warm smile, that will make every child’s face light up, each and every day.
You must be able to laugh out loud at jokes you don’t understand.
Throughout the course of a day you will have many varied roles; if a child requests you to be the Captain of a ship, you will be the best Captain you can be!
You must be able to multitask and clean as you go so your children enjoy a space that is exciting while safe.
If a child requests you take them to the bathroom, and you’re just heading out for your lunch break, you will happily take them by their little hand, and spend an unduly amount of time in the bathroom, singing them songs and telling them stories before finally jumping up and down and clapping with praise and excitement when they eventually have a long awaited wee on the potty!
The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune, in front of a crowd, is essential!
You must have enough love to be able to offer warm hugs, as and when required.
Possessing the skills required to rapidly count the heads of moving small people is of the utmost importance.
As too, is having eyes in the back of your head!#
Pretending to eat playdough creations realistically is required, as too is drinking numerous cups of pretend play tea.
You must have the ability to read a ten page fairytale, upside down, with at least five interruptions per page!
And finally, you must be prepared to engage in lots of fun activities, be prepared to get messy-your hair and nails will be hard to maintain, but it really is all worth it!
When you walk into our Nursery, you instantly become a Superhero, to our babies and children, you need to be their everything-and you must wear your hero cape with pride.
