Salary: £35,000–£45,000+ Benefits
Hours: 39/week (Mon–Thurs 6:45–3:30, Fri 7:00–1:00)
Location: Lymington
Join our team producing high-value precision components for diverse industries. You’ll program, set, and operate 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines, interpret technical drawings, and consistently deliver work to quality standards, following job instructions and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate CNC mills
- Evaluate blueprints and set up sheets for machining operations
- Support new product introduction and process improvements
- Train and hand over processes to other team members
- Ensure quality, safety, and continuous process control
- Conduct daily machine maintenance and take accurate measurements
Requirements:
- Experience in precision manufacturing
- Strong ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions
- Skilled with CNC programming, setup and operation
- Mechanical engineering apprenticeship completed
- Right to work in the UK
- Knowledge of Mazak, Heidenhain, Fanuc controls, modern tooling, H&S practices
