Warehouse Operative roles available working AM Shifts Monday to Friday for a well known clothing retailer in Armthorpe DN3 3FF in their furniture department! Free parking onsite, ongoing work available with set shifts and overtime paid at enhanced rates!!
Hours & Shifts: Monday to Friday 5.30am - 1.45pm (0530-1345)
Pay Rate: £12.51 per hour + overtime paid at x1.5 rate
As Warehouse Operative you will be working in the furniture department undertaking any of the following duties:
- Lifting sofas from a pallet to a table
- Adding protective caps on the sides of the sofa and the edges
- Sliding the sofa into a bag and then seal it off with tap
- Once fully sealed you will move the sofa to a pallet
- General warehouse work
- Unloading lorries with household goods and palletising which could range from boxes to large, heavy items such as sofas
We would be keen to hear from applicants with the following:
- Warehouse Operative experience ideally
- Full training will be provided for those without warehouse experience
- Ability to work in a targeted environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and be physically fit as this is a very manual role with heavy lifting involved
- Safety shoes are required
- Attention to detail is essential
