Crynodeb
The role of the post holder is: To Chair and lead multi-disciplinary teams in the completion of Decision Support Tools to apply the NHS National Framework for Continuing Health care and Funded Nursing Care. To undertake reviews in line with the National Framework for Continuing Healthcare and Funded Nursing Care To process Local and Independent requests for appeal against NHS Continuing Healthcare eligibility decisions for the ICB To undertake reviews for Previously Unassessed Periods of Care (PUPOC) on behalf of the ICB. To undertake Retrospective reviews on behalf of the ICB. Complete the Appeals process within set timescales. Completion of the individuals Care Needs Portrayals in order to inform the Appeal process. Respond to NHS England data requests in a timely manner. Arrange and facilitate Local Appeal meetings & Panels.
