Teamforce Labour are currently seeking an experienced EUSR (Persons) Competent Person for an immediate start on a major infrastructure project in Drax, North Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading Civil Engineering contractors, delivering high-profile works in a safety-critical environment.
Key Requirements:
- Valid EUSR (Persons) certification
- NSI6 and NSI8 qualifications (essential)
- Proven experience in a Competent Person role within a gas or utilities environment
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and industry regulations
- Ability to provide clear on-site leadership and support to teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety procedures on site
- Oversee and enforce correct site management practices
- Support the implementation of safe systems of work (SSOW)
- Liaise effectively with site management to ensure smooth project delivery
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with work activities
