Leisure Services – Inspiring Members to Live Active Lives
If you're all about flexibility and prefer the freedom to work on specific days or cover short-term assignments, this is the role for you.
Are you passionate about swimming and skilled at motivating others? Consider joining our dedicated Aquatic team, who are committed to making our community healthier and reducing health differences.
Our Swimming Teachers are a vital part of our team. They teach safe, fun, effective and enjoyable classes as part of a swimming programme or 1-1 tuition environments.
As a casual worker, you'll have no fixed hours and will work on an as-needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You are not obligated to be available, and the Council is not obliged to offer you work.
With a level 2 or above Swim England swimming teacher qualification or equivalent, you should have experience of teaching children within a leisure environment. If you do not hold a level 2 or above Swim England swimming teacher qualification may be considered for the post if you hold a minimum of a level 1 qualification and can evidence that you are booked onto a level 2 course to complete your qualification.
If you care about keeping kids and vulnerable adults safe, and you're good at communicating and staying organised, we'd love to have you on our team. Let's work together to inspire health and well-being in our community through swimming!
Why us?
